12 Gauge Shotgun Mossberg
Can you shoot sabot slugs from a 12 gauge mossberg 500 tactical shotgun?

Yes you most certainly can.... This is completely safe to do so with that Mossberg shotgun....
I also should point out that sabot slugs work efficiently if they are fired from a shotgun with a rifled barrel.... that shotgun you are looking at has a cylinder bore barrel.... Since there is no barrel rifling the sabot slug will not be very effective, give poor shot groups and give unpredictable results....
Its safe - but not effective..... Sabots are expensive so I surely would not spend the extra money of them for poor results.....
What you want to do is shoot rifled slugs (foster type) thru that particular Mossberg shotgun.... they are designed to fire thru a cylinder bore shotgun like that.....

As a side note --- You may want to consider a shotgun that has a regular stock.... That pistol grip looks cool in the movies but in reality it is difficult to hit what you aiming at when the target is more than a room distance away.....

Also that shotgun you show in the photo has a breacher on the end.... If your not blowing hinges or locks off a door (which I might add is extremely dangerous) then all it is - is a cool looking ornament.....
