I would like to sell it but dont know how much it is worth. Gunbroker was no help. Im keeping the lower so I can put a new upper on it. Maybe a 24 inch barrel. Any ideas How much I can get for this Used 16 barrel upper? Other then the 40 rounds fired it sat in a rifle case.
I have someone who is interested in it. This guy said he will give me $600. Is that a good buying price?
On further Inspection (im a gun noob) it is 1/9 twist. It is not chrome lined.
I have an upper that's almost identical. I don't have the rear handle/sight unit on mine and I was just thinking "Wow, what's the point in a flattop upper with the standard A2 high rise front sight?".
I paid just over $400 with the BCG, but I know I got a great deal from a motivated seller.
What IS the point of a flattop with a high front sight if you don't put a handle on it? I have a couple of lowers and uppers that have never been completed....I just couldn't resist hoarding a few months back when they were available.
Since lowers seem to be common, uppers are still in demand, so I think you should be looking at $500 for it.
