qeustion about archery sights?
hi everyone i have a recurve with a whisker biscuit on it.the thing i was wondering is if i bought some pen sights for it then would i have to take it to bass pro shop and get it sighted? how much would this cost? also someone told me you have to get it sighted for a certain distance thanks everyone anyhelp is appreciated
You don't have to take it to the shop to sight in a bow sight, They will be glad to help you with it I am sure it's just good customer service. I would not charge to help a customer do that, but I don't work for bass pro either.
Start by sighting in at ten or twenty yards and work your way out from there. Put your pin on target shoot and then adjust your pin to where your arrow shot, do the same for each distance 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. After the first one at ten, line up the others as you will be pretty close for left/right at that point except for elevation.
