Your in your tree-stand, on land that you have permission to hunt, but the problem is, 200 yards away, right on the other side of the fence line, in another guys property, stands the buck of your dreams, your 30-06 just loves that range, a quick shot, a couple quick tugs and you could make it all look legal. Your being tested here. What would you do?
I stopped hunting horns years ago. No matter how long you boil em, they never get tender!! LOL
I have all the trophy horn mounts I need. being ethical, means being ethical even if no one else is around to see it. I'd pass the shot, or better yet, use a call or grunt and try to get him to jump the fence.
