What type of air rifles are sold in hunting stores??? Just how powerful are some of the air rifles for sale?

I have only bought my air rifles from Wal-Mart and Sports Authority... What is the difference between the two different types of stores in regards to their air rifles up for sale... Thanks your info... Lots of Love... Jessi

If you really want to see(in person) what is available in the way of quality airguns you need to either go to a airgun show or to a specialty shop.

Walmart only carries inexpensive airguns, most of which are meant to be a break-in airgun for beginners - Daisy, Crosman, Beeman(chinese) , Gamo(Big Cat), etc.

Outdoor sport specialists, like Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop will carry higher quality airguns, but generally not the best of the best.

They carry "Diana" RWS airguns, including the 350 Magnum* which is a very powerful(25.5fpe) spring piston air rifle.

*I prefer the 350 in .22 caliber, even though I'm a big fan of the .177

If you're searching for a good quality air rifle, that's also a very good value. I suggest the RWS 34, IMO this is the best value air rifle in the world
