Mossberg Shotgun Barrels
Will Mossberg 500 parts work for my Revelation R 310cc?
I have a Western Auto Supply Co. Revelation 20g shotgun. I read that it was produced by Mossberg. Would a modern day Mossberg 500 barrel be compatible with my gun, or any other parts? If not are there any parts still available?
All 500 parts will interchange within their gauge with very few exceptions. All modern 20 gauge barrels will fit yours. Stocks are all the same, internals etc. Parts for your gun are common. No probs there.
The only parts you'd have probs on are the forearm/action slide tube and the bolt carrier. Early 500's, yours included, had single bar action slides. That's the pump part lol Modern ones have one on both sides. The bolt carrier on earlier models would only have one bar cut out, modern ones two. The only other difference is the ejector, and that was in the method of manufacture only. They all fit.
