Simmons Aetec Or ProHunter?
I clicked on the purchase of a Simmons scope for target shooting up to 1000 meters with a Remington 721 bolt action 30-.06 decided. The bottom of the two would be the better options for my needs? 1st The Aetec is 4-14x44 and is a little more expensive than the ProHunter. It saves the Money in the long run if you save your money until you can, at a minimum, a Leupold VX-3-series scope at the desired magnification. You can fool around and buy 3 or 4 cheap areas before you decide you need a high quality frame. Or you can save the same $ 400-500 on a Leupold, instead of the multiple "Also ran" scale purchases! This is the voice of "Been there, done that!"
