Small Game Arrow Tips
pheasant hunting help!!!!!?
is it possible to hunt pheasant with a pellet gun that shoots 1,000 fps? obviously they would have to be semi close, but some of these birds nearly hit me when I'm in my tree stand it seems like. If not, I have some small game tips for arrows I could use. Would I just aim for the head then?

I live is South Dakota, the Pheasant capital.
You will not kill a Pheasant with a pellet gun. I also archery hunt and have used small games tips to shoot them from my stand. Just aim for the body they wont go anywhere. If you are going to go pheasant hunting I would recommend using a 12 Gauge shotgun with either 4 or 6 shot.
