Does anyone know the name of this children's book?

When I was in my early school years (about 7-8 years old) I remember reading a book about a magical tree. From what I remember two children knew about this tree and they used to climb up it and there used to be different things on each of the branches. I am sorry that i can't be more preise but it was about 16-17 years ago. I just wondered if anyone knew its name as I remember really enjoying the book and I might read it again so see if it has stood the test of time. any help would be amazing, thanks

The Magic Faraway Tree! Enid Blyton, classic novels. I read that one too, and loved it! Have you ever read the adventures of the wishing chair? My mum had chairs just like it, I used to sit on them all the time nd wish away!!
